I'm glad to see someone doing a new documentary on the Sophia.

My family members lost on the Sophia were Edward Millard BELL, his wife (my Great Aunt) Arthemise (LEFEBVRE). and their two children Robert and Evelyn.

I didn't know about my family members being lost on the Sophia until soon before the memorial was made in Dawson City( my sister unveiled the memorial).

I found my Great Aunts burial records in Juneau, along with her husband and three year old son. I assume their baby daughter was never found.

I have just returned from a visit to the Yukon. Reading stories on the wreck became difficult as they became more personal...My aunt and her young son were identified, then said identification was wrong, re-identified...The day of the wreck was their baby daughters first birthday...

Their must be many personal stories about those lost on the wreck. It will be great to see them aired.
