I have just returned from the Yukon , where, included in my research, I gathered a fair bit of information on the Sophia wreck.

The first thing I can tell you is that John Green and his wife were listed among the identified dead.

There was also a biography in the newspaper on the same page as my relatives. It indicates Mr. Green was the master of the Steamer "Yukon"

I'm afraid much of the biography is unreadable in this copy.

I would be happy to send you copies of anything pertaining to the Greens that I have in my file.

I got all my information from the Yukon Archives in Whitehorse, and the Museum in Dawson City. I'm sure you would be able to get some of information on Mr. Green from there that I don't have.
