But a great relative of my mine - we are not sure if he is a great great uncle or a secind couisn of our grandads- but Fred Fleet one of the lookouts -the one who shouted "iceberg right ahead" was born in Liverpool- likely to be Huyton- formerly spelled "Highton" you are right from looking at the deck crew lists- there were certainly some
other Liverpudlians amongst them- as my focus has been on Fred-ihaven't delved into passenger lists as yet.
