Hi Alan
I am delighted to hear from you as making contact with descendants of those who died is a very special part of my research.
I have found various different spellings of the surname during the course of my searches but had decided [since this posting] the most likely spelling was Barrott.
Emma's body was not recovered until a couple of weeks after the flood but the bodies of her husband and son were never recovered or identified. Emma was buried in Wardsend Cemetery but no grave plot plans exist, I am sorry to say. I have searched the cemetery though and can tell you that no headstone exists, if ever there was one.
I do have a certain amount of information about the family that I would be happy to pass on and I am in touch with other descendants of this family. Perhaps you could contact me direct on email:
KarenL823@aol.com.
Although I use Ancestry all the time for viewing census records etc I am not familiar with the family trees you mention so have not yet been able to look at your tree.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best Wishes
Karen
