My Greek great-uncle, Theodore Diamandis, survived the 1915 Lusitania sinking and gave evidence to the British wreck inquiry. He said he was on the ship with a friend when the torpedo struck. Does his name ring any bells? I wondered if Mr Pappadopoulo or Leonidas Bistas might have been the friend in question. Does anyone have any more info. about Theodore Diamandis and the Lusitania voyage?
