Cheryl, I would love to 'talk' further to you. My email is caballkay@gmail.com. I am based in Kerry and almost finished a book on the 117 girls who were sent to Australia from four Kerry Workhouses (Dingle, Listowel, Killarney, Kenmare) during the Famine, under the Earl Grey individual Workhouses were not names nor were their first apprenticeships. Any information you have would be great. I have contact with only 3 more descendants of the Killarney girls - one lady (from Melbourne) came here last May and I met her at the National Famine Memorial in Kilrush. I have some information posted on my blogs on www.MyKerryAncestors.com. I look forward to hearing from you. Kay Caball
