Hi again,
I posted something above (sadwings25), but I forgot to tell my story...lol.
I remember going to a hotel, and all I know is we had to leave our house. My dad was at work, and they wouldn't let him down the street, he had to park his car down the road, and walk to the house. We stayed at a motel somewhere (I later found out it was in Brampton), and I remember my parents going out to buy a coffee maker. When we went back home, my sister and I weren't allowed out of the car until my parents asked the neighbours if it was ok. I remember there was a funny smell in the air. Later on my uncle brought us a record of a song that his friends put together. It was called the Mississauga Mishap, and it was about the train derailment.
I was watching something on TV a few months ago, and I think it was listed as one of the top 10 worse man made disasters.
