Charles Fraser resided in Toronto along with most of his brothers and sisters. He left one or two children who were toddlers. I believe he boarded the train in Toronto.

One of his older sisters was born in 1860; so, he must have been born between 1862 - 1870. The males in this family never married early; so he may have been close to 30-years. That puts the wreck (guessing here) 1885 - 1900?

I could be incorrect on the age of Charles ... if there is no record of any other major train wreck in Hamilton ... it might have been the 1934 wreck, but that would put him marrying MUCH later...

The wreck occurred in Hamilton (I once had an old newpaper clipping about the accident ... with interviews of families still unable to find their loved ones) and was a horrific crash with lots of fatalities. (included fire) I do not remember what caused the crash.

I hope these figures are fairly accurate.
Thank you for trying to help sort this.
