Thanks for responding to my post. Unfortunately this is not my family. The David Frederick Gunn that I am looking for was born about 1880 (unconfirmed - but it fits with his siblings) probably on the family farm in West Gwillimbury. Father was John. Mother was Wilhelmina (Mckay). It was a large family and there was some "falling out" among the siblings. Hence, my lack of information on this member.
My Grandfather, Donald J. Gunn worked for the CPR in Banff, Lake Louise (Laggan) and Red Deer.

The inscriptions will be of value as I am trying to keep a record of the Gunn families that went to Elgin and Oxford Counties.
