Do you know when the train wreck happened? I found a mention in a newspaper article about my great-grandparents' wedding anniversary, in which they recalled their immigration...landing at Quebec and then taking a train, crossing to the U.S. side when it dropped into the St. Lawrence River after a drawbridge was left open. This was in 1874. Would this be the same timeframe as your great-grandparents' train wreck?
