My husbands grandfather Albert David and family lived in Tuffs Cove,he worked for the Army & Navy Division of Olands Brewery Turtle Grove .Albert was a cooper .(built wooden barrels) . Conrad Oland , Albert David and 10 other employees was killed at this brewery in the Halifax Explosion. For photo go to the following site .Brewery is photo # 11.
