Yes, that is another quandry. I have already researched and found that he and Pearl lived in Custer County in April 1910 with her parents. I know they got married in 1910 in Roger Mills County, OK. And,I know from family history that my grandmother was born in Leedey. It says the same on her birth certificate, although it was a delayed birth certificate and I suppose it could be wrong. However, we are fairly confident that they were in Leedey by June of 1910. However we are not sure that he died a week after her birth. We think it is possible he abandoned them after seven days and we were told he died because my grandmother was ashamed of it.

I also know that all of Clarence's family was in Knoxville, TN so I have searched cemeteries, obits and death records there as well in case he did leave them and head back to Knoxville. No luck there either.
