I am pretty new at this. Any advice is appreciated!
I want to request a death certificate for my great-grandfather Clarence Rule (b. 1888), but I don't know the date of death. I have a guess according to family lore of the date - he supposedly died 7 days after the birth of his daughter (my grandmother), which would be June 15, 1910. I think he died in Leedey, Oklahoma.
Should I just send off for the record with that info? As I understand it, if it is wrong, they still charge me for the search. I could guess several dates around my grandmother's birthday but that would cost me a fortune. Any other ways to confirm a date of death??
Thanks
