I had to put everything on a shelf for a short time due to some disagreements on agreements and contracts. I now have everything without any ties and moving forward on the book. I'll not be quilty of Hollywood contracts that are more "Yankee" than good old southern handshake!!
A couple of new bits of evidence has risen. I have been in Contact with Crocker family who know that there had been some agreements made after their great uncle was killed, for Quantrill to use his name. This was made with the real Crocker's mother and his brother, John Peyton (Crocker) who rode with Quantrill. During lawsuits, starting in 1917, The Crocker family lost and was ordered not to reveal anything about the true identity of the man that died in Arkansas.
I feel that this info has only strengthened my research to proce that Quantrill lived 52 years after the Civil War. According to researchers/ experts there is other evidence linked to the Knights of the Golden circle that proves that Quantrill did live!
