Hi Cheryl, Thanks for your response. I am interested in any Touhy Gang story. Mostly,if you know anything about James O'Connor aka Gene Lanthorne (my great uncle). He was the one who actually planned their escape in 1942. I'm trying to figure out if my uncle Gene knew Roger Touhy prior to Stateville Prison, (1932-1942). I heard he was associated with Touhy in the early 1930's involving Union organizing, etc. Any info that you have, will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, hope to hear from you soon.
