Nida Case Trial Begins in Tulsa

TULSA, Sept.8 -
The preliminary trial of Raymond Sharp and
Marie Harmon, charged with complicity in
the murder of Homer Nida, taxicab driver,
for whose death Roy Belton was lynched here
a week ago Saturday was called in Justice
H.J. Gray's court this afternoon. The
prisoners were brought here from Chandler,
where they were taken from Sapulpa, after
being slipped out of the county jail here,
directly following the lynching of Belton.
Hundreds of women were in the court room.
