I'm hoping you can assist (fingers crossed). I believe my ancestor was an Irish Constable before migrating to Australia where he joined the Victorian Police Force. His details are:

Timothy Keenan born around 1832 in Queens County / County Laois. His Fathers name was John Keenan and his mother Mary Ann Phelan or May Ann Thelan. His family were farmers.
