Judh - thanks for your message of 11th June. I have asked Jim Herlihy for my g'father's police service record, but am still waiting!

As far as I know, G'father was born in Co. Kildare circa 1875. He married Harriet Warren in Cape Town about 1906/7 and my aunt and father were born in what was then S Rhodesia.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about his parents or siblings, except that he had a sister, Mary?, and a brother.

Does this ring any bells with you?
