Where did you find the death certificate? That was my dad's brother, George. Actually he died on our front sidewalk leading up to our home at 1402 4th ave. It was a heart attack. Dropped dead. When is laid a corpse in our living room there, your mom and I would stand over the coffin and make silly statements to keep from being scared. Grandma Garrett brought everyone home when they died and had the service in the living room. It was not pleasant. I wish I could remember how to get to the Garrett Cemetary. It is on a mountain top and we had to cross a swinging bridge and go through someone's yard to get there. The bodies had to be taken on a horse drawn wagon because you could not drive up there. My grandfather Gilbert T. Garrett and many others are buried there, but I have no recollection how to get there. Grandpa Garrett was from Lincoln County, so possibly it is in that county.
