I know a really sweet elderly man who knew Frank Jackson (around the 40's) and from what he's told me, Frank lived in New Mexico for some time, married and had children, he later went back to Williamson County, Texas where he lived before his death in 1986, not sure off hand where he's buried but I'll try to find out. When he returned to Williamson County later on in his adult life, he lived there for some time before letting anybody know who he was. People liked him and he had done nothing but good things since he had been there (at the time nobody knew he was Frank Jackson). He later went to the judge and told him who he was and what had happened that day in Round Rock with Sam Bass. The judge aquited him and he lived the rest of his life somewhere around that area. Apparently after what happened in Round Rock, Texas he escaped to New Mexico and from that point on he lived a quite and honest life. Another person I know says his uncle was a good friend of Frank when he moved to this area and settled down.
