Was he from Wales? If so this could be him:

Chaloner, David
Convict No: 11634
Voyage Ship: Isabella (1)
Voyage No: 112
Arrival Date: 14 Nov 1833
Departure Date: 28 Jul 1833
Departure Port: Plymouth

It is stated he was married with 1 child. Further on states he was a widower.
Crime appears to be sheep stealing, but he had previously been charged with fighting and manslaughter. Also on same ship is Edward CHALONER, as an accessory to sheep stealing. Both appear to have been tried in Denbigh. Edward was married with 3 children, Wrexham. David received his conditional pardon in 1841 (number 3607).
