I am also researching Eugene/Owen Connor/O'Connor

He absconded twice, so I am not surprised his length of stay was increased. I am wondering if he married while absconded? I am wondering if he used a different name because he had absconded/was on the run. One of my records showed his name as Eugene Griffin.. could you look up a permission to marry for Eugene Griffin. (supposedly thats the maiden name of his wife, maybe that had to do with more than one record of marriage, maybe its a corrected version.)
On the journey to Sydney, the Hive ran ashore south of Jervis Bay on 10/12/1835. Several days later the convicts were sent to Sydney on the HMS 'Zebra', the schooner 'Edward' & the cutter 'Prince George'
