I'm looking for help in finding any info on the early convict life of William BAMBLETT (BAMLET) who was transported on the LAYTON in 1829 to NSW. I've got lots of data on ToL & CoF and his later life in Port Phillip (Victoria). He was assigned on arrival to a John ????? (Could be McLEAN, McLEISH or McLAREN but it's difficult to read) in the Bathurst region.
Any leads would be appreciated
