Hi Sandra,
Thanks very much for replying. The address on the Marriage Certificate for my Grandmother is 45 New Road which I believe is in the East End of London. Her maiden name is Amelia Caroline Johns.
They were married a couple of months after the Census. However, I cannot find her listed anywhere within the Census. My line of thinking is that if I could find the address within the Census it will show me if she actually registered or was telling little fibs. Finding everyone listed at the address might throw some light on it.
My Grandfathers Harris (Harry) Smith, address is totally unreadable and I've posted a copy on another Board to see if anyone can help. Also the Marriage Banns is also unreadable.
