Actually I have tried to do this on several occasions lately. I had the dna testing done over at 23nMe and am in contact with several distant cousins. Typically family trees are consulted to try to determine excactly how the dna relationshop plays out on paper. On both occasions I was given their Ancestry tree names. The first time I spent probably 20 minutes digging around trying to find out how the heck one translates a tree name into the actual tree. I was blown away that such a simple search tool was not available and had to write back and ask for the url to their tree.
