I have an ancestor, son of a Barbary Coast pirate, who was born in either Spain or Morocco. He arrived in New Amsterdam in 1633.

The map shows him as being born in Columbia, South America, arriving in New York, New York in a bus. I'm surprised there is no mention of Broadway shows.

As Ancestry's advertising aptly puts it, "It’s your family story, reinvented." :-)
