For some reason anyone in the pedigree view on my tree who does not already have a photo has an annoying-looking half-photo placed there instead of just the usual outline of a male or female head.

If that wasn't bad enough when I go to my mother's DNA match list instead of my own posted picture replaced by an icon that says "My W."

What gives??? Who comes up with these ideas?
