First of all, using that method doesn't "stick" - everytime I open a new browser window, I have to re-select Exact Matches Only again. If I only want to search census records from http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/census/usfedcen/main...., there is no Exact/Ranked option, and the results are Ranked. And if I scroll to the bottom and AGAIN select Exact Results to REFINE the previous search, I once AGAIN have to select census records only, even though thats where I just came from. THEN, if I select a specific census year from the results and choose to refine THAT search - guess what????? The results are RANKED again. So get off your soapbox and do your homework. This new system is screwed up beyond belief, and thats a fact.
