Rosemary, thanks for the idea. I tried it exactly as you said. It actually seemed to work. For a beautiful two minutes everyone belonged to the right people with no duplicates.

Then I closed my browser and reopened it. I came back to check on everyone and they are back to being duplicated.

I guess Katie just wants to be the mother of everyone. She did after all marry her dead, barely cold in the ground sister's husband.

I am at a total loss.
