You can reduce your fallibility by resisting the urge to click n'copy data from other trees.

Newbies and those thinking they are "doing" genealogy by wholesale copying data, the easy-peasy Ancestry way, from other trees will end up with more than a few "mistakes" and duplicate profiles to delete.

A new tool to wholesale delete isn't needed. Ancestry needs to abandon the wholesale copying feature, using it is junkology, not genealogy. If you can't document it, don't put it your db, key-in your data.
