For the last several days (at least) the link under DNA to "buy another test" is broken which results in this pointless error message:

Please excuse the inconvenience

What is going on?

Second question - Does someone need to be a subscriber on Ancestry in order to order and make use of a DNA test?

I have been a long time member myself, this question is actually for someone who I believe is a distant cousin who I would like to convince to take a DNA test, to assist me in figuring out if we are related or not.

In this particular case, the test taker are several other family members who took the Y-DNA test some years back when it was still offered, are all male. I really do miss having the option of taking the Y-DNA test, which was great for following suchs possible connections.
