My father was born to Edith Mae Johnson, age 15, in Batavia, Illinois at St Joseph's Mercy Hospital. 1930 census shows Edith with her parents Earl & Mary Johnson on Walnut St in Batavia, Illinois. 1940 census shows Edith moved to St Charles, Illinois. Edith appears to have completed 1 year of high school, Edith's brother is Le Verne Johnson & her sister is Dorothy Johnson. Le Verne would have been born about 1919-1920, Edith was born about 1920-1921, Dorothy was born 2/7/1922.

I have been able to acquire my father's original birth certificate. His father's information has been left blank.
