I talked to my Dad today and told him the sad news of your Dad's passing. It really bothered him. He asked me to tell you how sorry he was to hear of his death. He did tell me something I had forgotten about grandpa for some reason there was a question as to when he was really born. He learned at his death that he was actually 3 yrs older than what his documents that he had at the time showed. That maybe why the adoption records are hard to find I don't know. My thoughts are that maybe back then there was more than one wife and that he actually was born to one of them then somehow adopted by the other. Maybe that's why things are so hard to find. I don't know when they stopped having multiple wives but that could be the mystery! Who knows! But dad said he would try and find that letter. Talk to you soon. Debbie
