I was wondering why you didn't mention the federal census of 1900. Maybe you checked the index already.
If you would be interested in seeing the SS-5 form Minnie filled out when she applied for her social security card, go to Rootsweb's version of the Social Security Death Index :
http://ssdi.rootsweb.comThey list her as Minnie J. ROOD, who lived in Fresno, CA. Rootsweb has a form letter for applying for the SS-5. The SS-5 asked for names of parents and birthplace. Of course, I cannot guarantee you'll learn anything new.
You could also post an annotation to her entry on the SSDI by clicking on "Add Post-em" perhaps giving your name and address in the hope that some future family member sees it.
So, in conclusion, there's the 1900 federal census, the Wyoming state census of 1905 (incomplete, in custody of Secretary of State, Cheyenne), the original birth certificate, perhaps a baptism record, and maybe proof of birth submitted to her first school. I never heard of any genealogist obtaining elementary school records.
