You can contact the Clerk of the District Court at (307) 235-9243 and ask them if they can look up the adoption papers. You might need to get a lawyer to ask a judge to unseal the adoption papers. I live in Casper and was trying to help somebody whose brother was adopted in the 1940s and they couldn't give me any info without a judges order. I would also suggest the Wyoming Health Department at http://www.health.wyo.gov/rfhd/vital_records/certificate.htm... and request an original birth certificate. I hope this helps you in your search.
