Yes. We have lots of info on Timothy and I've been in contact a few times with another direct descendant. Timothy was in trouble for abusing Martha's other children and for swindling her out of money...plus he was already married, with a family in SLC. Martha's uncle was the Sheriff in Eureka at the time. I've been to the jail in Eureka where he was held. He was the only person to ever break out of the jail. As the story goes, the only radiator was away from his cell, so the sheriff handcuffed him to it on a very cold night. By morning, Tim was gone. Martha disappeared soon after the twins were born- she was in hot water herself and probably the talk of the town. A search under Timothy Desmond for stories etc will find a letter written by Tim's great granddaughter along with all the newspaper articles I've found on him through the years.
