I am looking for my grandmothers biological parents. She was raised in Yoakum Texas by people with the last name of Stopkey. She was told her mother had older children when she was adopted. It has been said the her mother was named Mary Gregory. She has DNA matches to people with family name of Cruse and Hughes but they have no knowledge of a child given up for adoption. I will likely never uncover this mystery but I thought it was worth putting out there and seeing if anyone has any knowledge of it or if anyone knows any way I can search through records to reveal the information. I have looked at children born in the year 1916 in Texas on her birthday and there is no match.
