All I have on Laura is her name, Laura C. Tucker, and death info...June 13, 1954 in Dallas Co, TX. Here's the info I have on Mark,,,Effie and her brother, Mark, were orphans by 1880, at 3 and 1 years old respectively, according to the Travis Co. census for that year. Their parents had died of typhoid. Effie and Mark were living with their grandmother (maternal), Louisa Reed, and her children, Alexander Alonzo, Louisa Caroline, and Susan at this time. Effie, and, probably, Mark, were later reared in the home of Rev Allen Bluford (Uncle Blue) Milam and his wife, Caroline (their aunt), who later moved from the Travis Co. area to the Stephens Co. area. According to "The Story of Eliasville", Rev Allen Bluford Milam moved to Eliasville, TX with his family in the early 1890s, though neither Effie or Mark is mentioned.
In the 1900 Stephens Co. census, Effie was married and living with her husband; however, Mark was living with the family of Walter Fletcher, Mark's brother. I don't know where Walter, who was apparently 3-4 years older then Effie, was when the 1880 census was taken, but he moved to Dickens County, Tx after 1900, raised his family there, and is buried there.
