Hi, my great grandfather Carl M Quinn attended TIS. He is shown in the 1910 Census, although I'm not sure of his exact years spent there. He was there because his parents had died while he was still very young in Ducktown, Tn. He ended up running away with his friend 'Ham' Crawford to play in a circus band that was traveling through (learned to play brass while in school, I'm guessing). It's been told he was teaching there as well (still a kid). I'll ask if Carl was treated poorly while there.
