Please help! Apparently my father nor my uncle knew that their mother and uncle (both deceased) were adopted.
When I found them in the 1930 Census they were specifically listed as Adopted daughter and Adopted son. Not a single living family member has any information especially since Bette J (my grandmother) passed away at an early age. Her adopted parents had passed by then as well.
Is there ANY way to find an original birth certificate for my grandmother? She was born in Franklin Ohio on 11/20/1918. Her adopted parents names were Arthur and Anna E. Kitson.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
