I am having a hearing on Sept 15th with the judge requesting release of info on my bfather. Course there are no guarantees where that will get me. My CI is basically working "for the court", so I doubt she will give out any info to anyone. Sucks to know she has all my info in a file right at her fingertips and can't tell me a darn thing..
It was my hopes in posting on this board that maybe someone from NH would see this info and recognize the name and maybe know the family. Long shot I'm sure, but figured it couldn't hurt. Of course, there's always the chance that maybe the judge will rule in my favor and then I will get all of my bdad's info. I do intend to reach each of my brothers and sisters somehow and if they choose not to have contact with me, I will accept that, but I beleive that decision needs to be made by each individual family member, and not just his sister.
My bdad was 20 when I was born. he was 59 at the time of his death.
My adoption was actually handled in Vermont, not in NH. I posted on this board because my CI told me he was living in NH. (that's specific, huh??????)
