Hi, first wanted to let you know in case you already don't, that NE has a "go between" in helping to find birth familes. If you call the Dept of Social Services and ask for the post adoption services, they will get you in contact with a very nice gentleman that may be able to help. Second, could the home have been "whitehall" rather then white house. I know there was a Whitehall (still is) located in Lincoln. I was born and raised in Lincoln and know the area fairly well. I now also live in KS but get to Lincoln on occasion. Can do lookups if you need or a member of my family will do so. I am the wife of an adoptee so now the problems with searching.
