I see the 1910 census is visible without buying a membership in ancestry.com and it is possible Anna Nelson was living in Fargo when her baby was put in the N.D. Children's Home, so I could check 1920 census of Fargo. But trying to track her through her siblings is an idea I had not considered. So many Anna Nelson's though. Such a mystery, because the baby was over a year old when placed in the home. There was an infectious disease? around that time, so possibly she died and that is why the baby was put up for adoption. I could check obits somehow, maybe for Fargo. Fargo isn't that far from Aberdeen, S.D. I also want to know if there was a home for unwed mothers in Aberdeen.
