Looking for any information regarding baby girl Arrington (or baby girl Thomas), born on August 1,1954 in Jackson County, Mississippi (Pascagoula?) to Louise Elizabeth Arrington (sometimes went by the name of Eurnestine Arrington). Birth took place at Singing River Hospital. This child was named Charlette Louanne and was told her father's name was Charles Thomas, one of her mother's several husbands. She was told that she was later adopted by another one of her mother's husbands, William Cicero Travis, making her name Charlette Travis. The adoption took place thru DePelchin Children's Center in Texas. Charlette recently found out her mother was also married to my uncle, Melvin Earl Barefield in 1952, which has been verified by a copy of the marriage certificate. Charlette and I recently met in person in Texas, and we are both working toward trying to find out who her biological father is. Any help anyone can give us will be greatly appreciated!
