For what it is worth to you, Mississippi did not seal the adoption records until July 1955, if I am not mistaken. Even at that it is next to impossible to obtain an orginial birth certificate from Mississippi if you were adopted. With that said I can tell you that some people have hired an attorney or done it on their own and obtained one. You may have some luck by filling out the online request for your birth certificate at the state of Mississippi's vital records site using only the information of your birth parents, yourself and sending in the requested fees. I would not mention on that form that you were adopted tho. Also you may obtain information on adoptions in Mississippi by just typing in "adoptions in Mississippi" into your search engine.
