i forgot to say that i do have copies of my legal adoption papers signed by my birth mother as mrs. nannie pettit wilson. my birth father did't sign the papers because he was in prison but he did see them but there is a paper that says that the prison correction superintendent showed them to him.the legal adoption was done at the hinds county courthouse in jackson, ms.,hinds county,ms.usa. thanks,ya'll from a grateful southern gal! barbara
