wilson and pettit were my birth parents. can't find any dates or other info on them except that he was arrested in harrison county,ms. around 1940?and sent to parchman prison in parchman,sunflower county, ms. for 13 yrs. after that my birth mother gave me up for adoption(mississippi children's home in jackson,ms.)in 1941?.i was adopted by a couple in their middle 40sin march or april of 1941.they really love and took good care of me. the only problem,for me, was that i didn't have any sisters or brothers.i'd really like to find out if i have any siblings or cousins now and also to get any medical info,etc.who did i get my musical talent from, who do my children and grandchildren look like,etc?as i've said before, i'm in my middle 70s and don't have the resourcesto hire anyone to do research for me. i can't travelvery far in my dilapidated car so any help from anyone would be more than greatly appreciated. i'm not able to get a copy of my original birth certificate so i can't find outmy birth parents dates, who delivered me, etc. my adoption certificate does say that i was born on sept.13,1936 in moorehead,sunflower county,ms. and, of course, the names of my adoptive parents. please help me, someone!take care and God bless you!
