Hello everyone. I am looking for information about my paternal grandmother, who was born in 1916, and spent time in a orphanage. The name given to me is Elise Sheff, and she was adopted by William and Ava Tucker. Her adopted name was Pauline Elise Tucker, and her married name was Pauline Elise Carothers.
I have a copy of her adopted birth certificate, but not her original.
I am compiling a family tree, and am looking for any information about her birth parents; nationality, faith, health issues, cause of death, etc.
