Searching for my aunt who was placed for adoption in late 1936 or early part of 1937. I do not have a name or date of birth. My grandmother lived in a small town in Missouri. She became pregnant in early 1936. Pregnant and never telling anyone, my grandmother waited to graduate from high school and then moved to California. She ended up settling in the Tulare/Fresno area.
My aunt may have been placed for adoption through Children's Home Society in LA or Oakland but this is not definite.
