I was also a patient of Dr Handorf I was told.Once when he was putting stitches near my mouth,mother said I bit his finger.

My sister was born about 1940-1944 give take 1 year.Gives a lot of room doesn't it.
I was born at Uof M Hospital & adopted & lived in Northville on the N E corner of Sheldon Rd & 6 Mile.
My adopted parents were Alvin J & Dorothy F Kuehn.They picked me up at the Ann Arbor train station where the attorneys brought me. at 10 days old. I was told that Dr Handorf gave the info of a need for a baby boy at the time.If he knew of any to let them know.

My paternal adopted grandad was retired Rev Ernst Kuehn.
& we all atteneded St. Pauls Lutheran where I was baptized 1938 & my oldest sister was confirmed & dad was buried from in 1942 after his fatal car accident,which, almost killed mother.
From there we moved to Adrian & then on to Fraser MI & lastly to Waldenburg MI by my then married oldest sister.
We now live in St. Clair County MI
I got into genealogy when I was searching for my biological parents at mothers urging.When I was 21 she gave me all the records she saived.
My sister & I share the same mother, Eileeen Marie Cleary.BUT we have different fathers. Hers being Hudson Milo Anderson a retired professor,who died last year.
Eileen died about 2010. In Florida.My sister & I are the only bological children of this woman whom I met in 1977.
Eileen was wed to Mr Anderson & in his obit he said he was married 2 times.He forgot his 1st wife? I have thier marriage cert.They were classmates & graduated together in 1940 & wed soon after & lived in Muskeegon MI.They divorced either 1 year after marriage or soon after.
Eileen then moved back to her parents & worked at GM & met her 2nd husband w/in 1 year.
I do not have an exact birth year of my sister but am willing to have blood tests.
Dr Handorf was friends w/ Dr De Alvarz of U of M Hosp. who was Eileen DR as she was born w/ a defective right hip.Was bed ridden for several months before a casarean delivery of myself & later of my sister.Thats when I found out I had a sister at Eileens death by her death physical.

Eileens sister who is alive at 91 told me she visited Eileen just before she delivered a baby girl and was divorced or in mid divorce proceedings.
I assume she delivered the 2nd time in Ann Arbor also.
I am retired & married for 50+ years to the same wife. We have 4 children,the oldest having become a grandma of twin girls in Jan 2014.
Her daughter is the Mom of the twins & her son is her other child ,unmarried ,,
Our youngest son has a boy 5.
The oldest son lives in Cadillac & the youngest daughter of ours lives in Troy.
We are in FL at out winter home & return after Easter to our St.Clair home.
Eileen 's sister is the only living biological relation of her immediate family in that generation.Eileens brother had 5 children.Thats it.3 girls were adopted & 1 is dead,unmarried.
The other 2 is a separate story in itself.
You may have know my cousin Betty Kuehn who lived on Center st.
Chief Joe Denton was a good friend of Dads whom I met a few times & we got along well.
The others owned the Farm Crest farms in Northville , & Bakery in Detroit the pres. whom I was named after.
Hass,Grennans,Huntsinger & Whipple were all friends as were Waldeckers & Van Sickle. who were neighbors.
